Summoners war best monsters

2024 is the year of the Summoners War and the last couple of months have been amazing for this game. There are a lot of buffs and changes as a part of the 8.4.1 patch, the game’s 10th anniversary and its collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen, and most importantly, the upcoming World Arena Championship.

What is the result of all this hype? A lot of players are once again coming back to Summoners War and the game looks more lively than ever.

The meta has changed, especially for returning players. In an attempt to list the best Summoners War monsters to awaken in 2024, I won’t be suggesting any new monsters that might be alien to such players. Instead, let’s check out the best monsters who’ve been there for quite a while and are still on top of the meta.

In case you don’t have these monsters on your account, or if you’re looking to restart your Summoners War journey with a ready-to-play new account, make sure to buy Summoners War account on our store for the best price.

Gina, the Dark Mystic Witch

Gina, the Dark Mystic Witch

Gina is a good fit for a dragon farming team; you can obtain her from the scroll of light and darkness and the temple of wishes.

Once you awaken Gina, she’ll get a new skill called the Thorny Bush summoning. This allows her to attack all enemies four times and deal continuous damage for two turns with up to an 80% chance each. The last attack from this skill will place the sleep effect on those targets with an 80% chance.

Awakening Gina will also upgrade her A1 and A2, and she now lands harmful effects from both of those skills 100% of the time.

Shannon, the Wind Pixie

Shannon, the Wind Pixie

Shannon is one of the best beginner-friendly Summoners War monsters and she is one of the best supporters to have on your team. You can obtain her from the unknown scroll, social summons, secret dungeon, and magic shop.

2A Shannon gets a new skill called the Pep Talk. This increases the attack and defense of all her allies for 3 turns. Both her A1 and A2 abilities are also upgraded when you awaken her.

Both Spirit Ball and Decelerate now deal more damage, have a higher chance of landing their respective effects, and have a chance of absorbing the enemies’ attack bar.

Spectra, the Fire Griffon

Spectra, the Fire Griffon

Spectra remains one of the Summoners War best monsters in the entire game. You can obtain this monster from the unknown scroll, mystical scroll, mystical summon, social summon, secret dungeon, and fire scroll.

While Spectra doesn’t gain any new skills after awakening, all three of its skills get upgraded.

Snatch gets increased damage. Special Assault deals damage based on the enemy’s maximum HP without consuming your own HP with a 3-turn cooldown. Backlash now also decreases the attack power of the enemies, along with the attack bar and attack speed, with an increased harmful effect rate.

If you’re wondering, where are the dogs? Here they come!

Icaru, the Water Inugami

Icaru, the Water Inugami

Icaru is probably one of the most used monsters in the game and is known for its great leader skill. You can obtain this monster from the unknown scroll, mystical scroll, water scroll, mystical summon, social summon, and garen forest.

Once awakened, Icaru gets Counterattack, which increases your attack power and counterattacks for one turn whenever you attack on your turn. Your A1 now deals increased damage with a 100% harmful effect rate and your A2 also deals more damage and allows you to team up with more allies.

Icaru is a great monster to have in your team and using multiple Icarus in a single team is a known practice in Summoners War.

Raoq, the Fire Inugami

Raoq, the Fire Inugami

Raoq is infamous for its ability to deal fast and heavy damage. You can obtain this monster from the unknown scroll, mystical scroll, mystical summon, fire scroll, social summon, and faimon volcano.

2A Raoq gets all three of its skills upgraded. Scratch now has an 80% chance to decrease the target’s defense for 2 turns and also gets a 40% chance with further consecutive attacks. Team Up now deals more damage and lets you team up with two other allies.

If you kill an enemy, you will now get an extra turn instantly, and all your skill cooldowns decrease by 1 turn, thanks to the 2A upgraded passive, Annihilate.

Kro, the Dark Inugami

Kro, the Dark Inugami

Returning players might have expected this, but here is our final suggestion, Kro. You can obtain this monster from the scroll of light and darkness, the secret dungeon, and the temple of wishes.

Kro is known for its heavy damage-dealing ability with continuous damage. Once awakened, Scratch now has a 90% chance to decrease the enemy’s defense and a 60% chance to deal continuous damage for 3 turns.

Team Up now deals bonus damage based on up to 40% of each harmful effect on the enemy. Both you and your ally get this bonus damage. Scar now leaves a branding effect for 2 turns, along with increased damage for each harmful effect on the enemy.

This brings us to the end of our suggestions.
