I Care a Lot
Without a trace of guilt, Marla (Rosamund Pike) tricks unsuspecting elderly folks into making her their legal guardian. She then shoves them into a senior facility and then sells their properties for a pretty penny. It’s all well and good for this conwoman until she bites more than she can chew. Her last victim turns out to be someone from a background she shouldn’t have crossed with!
This black comedy masterfully blends humor, satire, and thriller elements, with Pike’s riveting performance as the cherry on top. Peter Dinklage and Dianne West are also a delight to watch. Care to watch this on your next movie night?
Don’t Look Up
Planet Earth is about to experience a catastrophe that will obliterate humanity. But two astronomers (Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence) can’t seem to convince anyone about it, even though the problem is right above everyone!
