Brawl Stars Tier List: Best Brawlers in Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars tier list

When you’re looking for a Brawl Stars account for sale, chances are that you’ll want that account to be loaded with some of the best Brawl Stars characters, just so you can dive into the game right away and have success. On this page, we’re going to look at the best Brawlers in Brawl Stars (plus some of the worst). This is a tier list. It is based on the June 2024 meta, but a lot of these Brawl Stars brawlers seem to succeed no matter what the current meta is.

S Tier

On this Brawl Stars tier list, the S-tier brawlers are those who win a good chunk of their games. They have high health (or high damage) and, in the current meta, are incredibly fast. Some of the characters can have high burst damage, for example Kit, but they have supers that allow them to traverse the map quickly. Kit, for example, can also provide a nice boost to other brawlers on his team (when he rides allies, his damage is boosted).

These are the S-Tier Brawlers:

  • Kit
  • Angelo
  • Melodie
  • Max
  • Draco
  • Piper

If you’re familiar with Brawl Stars, then you’ll know that all of these are faster characters, often with a decent range on their attacks. This makes them ideal in the current meta where speed is absolutely everything. Take Piper Brawl Stars, for instance, she is fast. However, her attacks favor her staying at range, since the further she is away from her opponent, the more damage she’ll do. So, your whole goal is to keep the enemy at bay.

A Tier

The A Tier Brawl Stars characters are ones who are on the cusp of being S-tier, but they don’t have enough oomph behind them. Take Byron Brawl Stars, for instance. He has good damage output, and he is great for healing allies. This would normally be enough to put a character in the S tier. The problem is that he isn’t great at burst damage, and he is very fickle. If an enemy attacks him, he is as good as dead. Still, he is a worthwhile addition to the team due to the healing boost, assuming there are other S-tier brawlers on the team. Gene, for instance, has good damage, but it is somewhat unpredictable. This doesn’t work terribly well when he is facing some of the faster Brawl Stars characters, but is a godsend if he gets close to them.

Here are the A-Tier Brawlers:

  • Byron
  • Colt
  • Sandy
  • Fang
  • Lily
  • Jessie
  • Mr. P
  • Belle
  • Mico
  • Gene
  • Mortis
  • Shelly
  • Rico

As you can see, all of these are brawlers you’ll see regularly in the game. It just takes a bit more effort to play them in comparison to some of the S-tier Brawlers.

B Tier

The B-tier brawlers are very middle-of-the-road brawlers. They can perform well in the right hands, but they will rarely be the go-to for beginners when they buy Brawl Stars gems. We believe that many of these Brawl Stars brawlers would be very situational.

Take Colette Brawl Stars, for instance. She has moderate health and decent damage output. The problem is that her damage is very unpredictable. It also does less damage the more health the opponent has lost, which makes it very difficult for her to ‘finish off’ other Brawlers without some help. She can heal herself, though. That’s a plus.

Pam is another one of our B-Tier Brawlers. She is also very unpredictable with her damage. This means that she’ll rarely be called upon to do damage to the enemy. However, she can be a viable choice for some teams due to her massive healing ability. You just need to know that the rest of your team is covered on the damage and attack front.

Here are the B Tier Brawlers:

  • Buzz
  • Bibi
  • Janet
  • Buster
  • Brock
  • Bea
  • Charlie
  • R-T
  • Pam
  • Amber
  • Carl
  • Dynamike
  • Crow
  • Lou
  • Griff
  • Leon
  • Colette
  • Hank
  • Meg
  • Tick
  • Cordelius

C-Tier Brawlers

The C-Tier Brawlers are when most people will want to really think long and hard about whether they are worth playing. These C-Tier Brawlers are often very limited, or can be quite tricky to play.

Lola, for instance, has high damage output, although she does need to stay at range to do it. However, her Super is a clone. It is pretty tricky to control the Clone, even though it mimics Lola’s moves. This means that you won’t get the full power from Lola unless you really know what you’re doing.

Rosa is another one that can be tough to master. Most of her attacks require her to be up close to the enemy, and that just isn’t happening in this meta. She does have some good crowd-control abilities, but they can be tough to pull off when you have faster enemies.

Here are the C Tier Brawlers:

  • Chester
  • Lola
  • Surge
  • Spike
  • Emz
  • Mandy
  • Bonnie
  • Jacky
  • Stu
  • El Primo
  • Gray
  • Ruffs
  • Nani
  • Nita
  • Gus
  • Chuck
  • Doug
  • Poco
  • 8-Bit
  • Willow
  • Darryl
  • Rosa
  • Gale
  • Sam
  • Edgar
  • Bull

D Tier Brawlers

D Tier brawlers really don’t play well into the current ‘speed’ meta. Many of them require up-close attacks, e.g. Tara, which you just aren’t triggering at the moment. Others require short-distance damage, and are still inconsistent e.g. Ash. We probably wouldn’t touch any of the following D Tier Brawlers:

  • Tara
  • Otis
  • Penny
  • Larry  & Lawrie
  • Grom
  • Eve
  • Maisie
  • Pearl
  • Ash

F Tier Brawlers

These are the brawlers nobody should touch. They have variable damage (e.g. Bo), or can be tough to play, even for experienced players (e.g. Frank). Many of these brawlers are very slow and very inconsistent.

Here are the Brawl Stars brawlers to avoid:

  • Bo
  • Barley
  • Sprout
  • Frank
  • Squeak
