Emilie’s Talents
Now we get to what Emilie Genshin is all about and what she can do in battle. A character’s talents in Genshin Impact are both their special abilities and also include how they use their weapon through basic attacks. These talents also utilize a character’s specified element and will determine how well they will fit into certain teams of other Genshin characters.
The Polearm/Shadow-Hunting Spear
Emilie’s main weapon is her spear or also known as her Polearm. This spear is where she will be able to show off her overall basic attacks. She can strike with her spear up to four times in one go and can also charge up an upward attack as well. Her most powerful basic move though is her plunging attack. This move can be activated whenever she attacks from falling a great distance to the ground. Passive – Rectification
When an enemy has the Burning status effect, Emilie Genshin will deal extra damage with her basic attacks. This can be great to remember and pair with Emilie’s talents as her Lumidouce Case will burn enemies to make them extra vulnerable to this passive ability.
Fragrance Extraction
Emilie’s Fragrance Extraction skill as well as a lot of her talents utilize her main element which is Dendro. This talent will have Emilie spawn a Lumidouce Case. This case will create Fire Puffs which will cause Dendro damage to nearby enemies. When these Fire Puffs cause the Burning status effect onto an enemy, that enemy will give a Scent Point to the Lumidouce Case. Every two Scents will the case launch another Fire Puff. This talent does great AOE damage especially when there are multiple enemies around to get the most out of this power.
Passive – Lingering Fragrance
After achieving level 2 on the Lumidouce Case, every 2 scents collected afterward will cause the case to shoot out Cleardew Cologne which will deal extra Dendro damage.
Passive – Headspace Capture
Whenever the Lumidouce Case is activated, all other party members will receive an 85% Pyro resistance to protect against the Burning status effect.
Aromatic Explication
When activating Aromatic Explication, Emilie will create a level 3 version of the Lumidouce Case which normally reaches a maximum of level 2 with her Fragrance Extraction talent. When spawned, the talent will cause the Lumidouce case to shoot Scented Dew that resemble lightning bolts to strike the ground and cause Dendro damage to enemies nearby which further increases Genshin Emilie’s AOE capabilities.
