We let you buy Fallout 76 atoms cheap, letting you get more from the game for a far, far lower price! So what do you say? Go and check out Fallout 76’s latest update on all formats today!

Skyline Valley

As you can probably guess, the bulk of the Skyline Valley expansion is focused on, well, Skyline Valley. It is the map expansion part and boy does it look great!

Fallout 76 Skyline Valley hits you with that really mysterious vibe when you dive into it. If you’ve ever played the expansion ‘Far Harbor’ on Fallout 4, then you’ll know what we’re talking about it. It is a dusty environment, with plenty of mysteries to uncover.

The bulk of the mystery will surround Vault 63. It has proper Fallout vibes too. A good story, with plenty of awesome characters to meet and, yes, you’ll have to make a pretty tough decision when you get to the end of the story too. We won’t spoil that decision too much, though.

Of course, the Skyline Valley part of the map will have all the awesome things that people have come to know and love Fallout 76 for. This includes:

  • The ability to place your C.A.M.P. anywhere. However, as you can probably imagine, most people will probably want to be sliding their C.A.M.P. into Skyline Valley. This means that it might be tough to find a location where you can show off all those Fallout 76 items for sale that you’ve collected over the years.
  • Dangerous Pastimes: there’s a new event in the region, where your goal is to help tourists capture photos of the new area, while also defending them from all sorts of unknown terrors (mostly electrical creatures). There are plenty of rewards available here, and we reckon that you’ll be spending a good chunk of your time dabbling in Dangerous Pastimes. We’ve done the event every time that it has appeared.
  • Yes. You can nuke Skyline Valley. We’ll leave you to discover exactly what happens when you nuke it, though!

Combat Balance Changes

Fallout 76 has always been one of those games where you really feel forced into using certain weapons, while others get ignored. Since you have to spec yourself into certain weapons, it also makes things a bit trickier to swap. Thankfully, this is all changing.

Bethesda has promised that they’ll be rebalancing combat to make all weapons a bit more viable. This means changes to the power of certain weapons, as well as making slight adjustments to the power of the various creatures in the game.

This isn’t something that will be completely finished in the Skyline Valley patch, but we’re already seeing things adjusted a bit, and we’re seeing combat become a bit easier.

This rebalance does mean that it is a bit easier to enter the newer part of the map if you’re a brand new player to the game but, of course, you’ll have a much easier time once you’ve leveled up a little bit.

Season 17

The second big change with the Skyline Valley update is the introduction of Season 17, where there’s plenty of Pioneer Scout gear to unlock. Unlock everything with Season 17 (although, you’ll need Fallout First if you want the best parts), and you can give your whole C.A.M.P. a very Pioneer Scout vibe. Plus, there are some cool costumes along the way too.

Even if you don’t enjoy the Pioneer Scout vibe, it’s still important to level up the season pass (which is free), since you’ll also get a ton of atoms and other useful stuff you can use while playing.

Minor Changes

As you can probably imagine, the bulk of the other changes are focused on fixing a few glitches with the game. For example, adjustments to C.A.M.P. budgets with certain gear, making Power Armor less glitchy (if you, for example, struggled to create Union Power Armor), and more.

If you recently leveled up during the alien event, then you’ll also be pleased to know that there is also a damage boost to the weapons dropped there – the Alien Blaster and the Cryolater. The Cattle Prod has also received a nice boost too.

Check out the Update Today

As with all Fallout 76 updates, Skyline Valley is completely free. However, if you want to unlock everything from the expansion (i.e. all those cool cosmetics that have been added to the game), then you’ll need to get your hands on some Fallout 76 atoms. Luckily for you, you’re in the right place for that.  So, if you’re wondering what to do in Fallout 76 and the newest update, read on. We’ve got the lowdown.
