U7BUY is there for you and your important gaming needs. Get your Hay Day top up today! The Derby on Hay Day is a popular competition with other Hay Day players. It happens every single week while allowing amazing extra rewards depending on the number of tasks you can complete. But how exactly does the Hay Day Derby work and how do you even unlock it?

Before going to Derbies, you must understand what Neighborhoods are and how they work in Hay Day. A Neighborhood is essentially a way to group with other Hay Day players. This way you can trade with them and support each other overall. Each Neighborhood can hold a group range of just one to thirty players!

To repair the Neighborhood house, you must reach Hay Day experience level 10 at least. After that, the house is pretty cheap to repair, only costing 200 coins, but it will take about 2 hours to finish building. While joining any Neighborhood that you can find is free, creating one will cost slightly more at 500 Hay Day coins.

After successfully joining or creating a Neighborhood, it will automatically be entered in the weekly Derby. While the Hay Day Derby stand will become visible and available the second you repair the Neighborhood house, you will only be able to join a Derby in Hay Day after reaching at least Hay Day experience level 18.

When you enter the Derby, you will be entered into a league. In total, there are five and the better you compete and win more rewards, the higher you Hay Day rank in the leagues. The higher the Hay Day league, the more rare and plentiful rewards you will potentially earn, but with much tougher competition. Within each league, you will compete with other online neighborhoods with about the same progress as you.

Each Hay Day league will have its set of tasks that you can choose to do, but the league will keep raising the number of tasks you need to complete to move up to the next. At once there are a total of 12 Hay Day tasks to choose from on the board. Completing any one of the tasks will give the player a certain amount of Derby points before having the task replaced with another to be done.

The tasks that can be done are in two main categories. Those that are reliant on time and those that aren’t so much. The time-limited tasks must be done in a certain amount of time before being removed from the board. These can include having to feed a certain number of Hay Day animals, harvesting Hay Day crops, collecting animal products, and others. While these tasks can be more stressful, they tend to give more points.

Then there are the tasks not stressed by time but may offer fewer Derby points. These Hay Day tasks can require having to complete boat orders whether it be your own or other Hay Day farmers’. This can also be simpler tasks such as simply mining a certain number of ores, or fishing with specific lures for a certain amount of time.

Other tasks that you may find on the Derby board might be a bit more complex. For example, there is something called Hay Day combo tasks. These are assignments that are much more specific in what you must do to complete them but may give more rewards. This can include specifics such as serving a certain visitor or feeding a certain Hay Day animal.

Now that the tasks themselves have been gone over, how are they organized between Neighborhood members? Well, every single player can only choose to focus on one task at a time. Neighborhood leaders can control what tasks that haven’t been selected can be deleted for new ones. Otherwise, players can freely choose which Hay Day tasks they want while also being able to view their teammates’ completion rates at the same time.

When you earn Hay Day Derby points, they will be calculated into the overall Neighborhood’s score. From there, you will be able to view your placement in the Derby compared to other Neighborhoods in your race and league. Each flag or score milestone will earn you a Horseshoe. Each Hay Day Horseshoe can be added up and used to purchase a reward of your choosing. To earn Hay Day rewards, you will need to earn a lot of Horseshoes, but with enough gameplay, you will surely rake them up quickly. These prizes can range from simple feeds or Hay Day supplies to full-on special vouchers, boosts, and even expansion permits. What matters is being able to save up on your Hay Day Horseshoes for these, as they tend to be top prizes. However, the more you play, the better rewards will become available.
