Harvesting Crops

The first crop that you unlock to plant is Wheat. Wheat is the fastest Hay Day crop to grow in the entire game as it only takes about 2 minutes to grow per plot that is planted. As you get further into the game and unlock more Hay Day plots, experience points will be harder to gather. Whenever you are in need of the extra points in a short timing, plant as much Wheat as you can!
You will also earn lots of Experience Points from growing other Hay Day crops too with some of the rare ones earning even more XP than others. However, these crops will usually take much longer to be ready for harvest, so keep that in mind when wanting to plant them for XP as they work more as a slightly longer investment.
Completing Orders
The main mechanic on Hay Day is being able to complete the many different orders that come your way whether through visitors, the truck, or even by boat. All of these orders that come in on the daily will reward you with lots of resources, Hay Day coins, and a lot of Experience Points. Every time that you check back onto Hay Day, always check what orders are available and how much XP you can earn from them.
Upgrading Machines
There is more to Hay Day than just planting crops and raising animals. By using the many types of machines that you can build and place onto your Hay Day farm, you can take some of the crops and animal products that you harvest and turn them into other useful and valuable resources to use or sell to complete orders for more XP.
Besides using these machines, you can also upgrade them! Upgrading machines will give a special Hay Day XP boost both right after upgrading the machine itself and after using and harvesting from them too! Eventually, after enough time, you will have a flood of XP rolling out per order completed with your machines.
Achievements
Another way to earn some extra Hay Day XP is through completing achievements. In fact, this will probably be the method that gets you the most amount of Experience Points per achievement completed. You can even earn some Hay Day Diamonds while you’re at it! However, these achievements will start to dwindle and become harder to complete as you continue through the game and complete more of them, so try not to rely on them entirely.
Double XP Events
Sometimes you will see special Double XP events that occur on your truck, boat, or other forms of orders to complete. When completed during the Hay Day event, orders will give double the number of Experience Points than they normally would depending on how valuable the Hay Day items of the order are. Whenever you see these events happen, complete as many of the orders as you can!
Turn On Notifications!
To help keep track of any Double XP events or other events on Hay Day that could help you progress in leveling, or to just let you know when your crops are done growing, be sure to have your notifications for the game always on! This will make it much easier to quickly jump on the Hay Day game to take care of anything that you have been notified for the second it happens!
The Farm Pass
The Hay Day Farm Pass is a special rewards system in Hay Day that offers players different bonuses and exclusive items for those who pay for it and complete certain tasks that it requires. While not all players may be fond of paying real-life money for the pass, you can also buy the pass with Diamonds too! This makes the Farm Pass Hay Day a great late-game option as you will likely have way more Hay Day Diamonds to afford the Pass. Not only will you earn great and rare rewards and boosts, but plenty of extra XP to go along with it!
