Brava is an Attacking Operator in Rainbow Six Siege with simple but interesting quirks to how she plays. She can use a special drone-like device that allows her to control enemy gadgets, but how do you even play her?
Brava’s main gadget that is unique to her character is her Kludge Drone. What makes the Kludge Drone stand out from the regular Drones is the electric laser that is attached to the Kludge. This laser can be shot at Defender gadgets whenever they are in its range. This will make the Defender gadgets either be destroyed or controlled to be used against the Defenders instead.
There are a lot of Defender gadgets that can be turned against their team thanks to Brava’s Kludge Drone. For example, a very common device to be hijacked by the Kludge is Aruni’s laser gates. Her gates only allow Defender Operators and their projectiles through unharmed but hacking it will do the opposite. This will create a mighty surprise for any Attackers that dare cross it.
Another device that Brava can hack is one of Mozzie’s Pests, but you need to be careful with this one. The Pests that Mozzie deploys can be hacked for you to use against the enemy team, but the Pests could hack you too. This means that you must be careful whenever any of the Pests are nearby and not play too cocky with the Kludge Drone’s power.
The Kludge Drone’s main gimmick is how it can hack Defender gadgets, but it can still be useful for destroying some too. While there are not many that can be solely destroyed, there are a couple. For example, you can destroy Bandit’s Shock Wires to clear up some paths or get rid of some smoke grenades and Defender C4s.
When playing Brava, there are a couple of other Attacker Operators that can help you use the Kludge Drone more efficiently. IQ has a Spectre gadget that allows her to scan all surrounding gadgets in the area. This is perfect for Brava as it allows you to also be able to see if there are any gadgets to hack nearby.
Another Operator that can help Brava is Zero. Zero utilizes his special cameras called the ARGUS Launcher. This camera has the special ability to see on both sides of a wall. This not only gives a better point of view for all viewers, but it can also shoot out projectiles to detect and destroy Defender gadgets.
Finally, there is Twitch. Twitch, just like Brava, can also use a drone that is specialized in finding gadgets. This drone is called the Shock Drone. While Twitch can only hold two at a time, they have the potential to last for quite a while. They can not only target and shoot to find Defender gadgets, but even shock other players to help make a quick escape.
There are a couple of counters to Brava’s Kludge Drones though despite its power. We have already mentioned Mozzie’s Pests and why you should be careful around them, but Mozzie can also re-hack any gadget that has been hacked by the Kludge Drones. He can only do this a certain number of times but be sure to check if your gadgets have been switched back.
There are a couple of other Defender Operators that have gadgets with powers that can work against the Kludge Drones. For example, Solis’ Electro Scanner works almost just like IQ’s to scan out Brava’s drone. Mute’s Signal Jammers can even completely shut down a Kludge Drone that is nearby, but sending another one quickly after it can help unjam it.
There are two other gadgets that Brava has that can help you play her to the fullest. These are the Smoke Grenades and the Claymores. Smoke Grenades can help you both escape from a battle you can’t win and block an enemy’s point of view to take the upper hand. This is important to keep in mind as Brava’s health tends to be lower than other Operators but has quicker movement. Then there are the Claymores that Brava has. These can be used to climb on the sides of walls of the buildings you are trying to get into. This can not only be great for reaching important places faster than anybody else and finding good positioning but also find a good spot to deploy your Kludge Drones.
