What is the Jetpack

The Jetpack is one of the relics that you can find inside the game. It is an SR-rate relic that can help the player’s characters in traveling long-distance areas. Although it may seem a little basic at first, once the quests come cramming at you and you need to travel from one location to another, you will see the essence of having this relic with you.

Upon using the jetpack, you will use a specific amount of stamina for every second you soar higher in the air.

To use the jetpack, simply tap and hold your aim in order to launch yourself using the jetpack. Keep pressing the button to reach the altitude you want, then let go and use the movement buttons to glide your character toward the direction you want to travel. If you refuse to control the altitude and want to reach the maximum height your jetpack can reach, it will shut off on its own and turn into glide mode as you slowly go down.

How to Upgrade Jetpack

Given that relics are made in order to help the players in combat, travel, and overall quality of life, it is just right for them to be able to improve and keep up with the level and demands of the quests.

Jetpack can be upgraded, and in the context of Tower of Fantasy, it is called advancement. In order to advance the jetpack, a Jetpack Shard is needed. You can get Jetpack Shards by opening the SR Relic Shard Box, buying from the Crew Store, and as rewards from Appointed Research, Deapsee Exploration, Dreamscape Challenge, and Ruin B-01.

You can determine how upgraded your jetpack is based on the number of its stars. Each star signifies an improvement in its features. Here is a list of all the advancements received per star:

• 1 Star: Can replenish 1 charge every 100 seconds. Gliding no longer uses endurance.
• 2 Stars: Gliding for 3 seconds or more empowers the user’s next pummel attack, stunning the target for two seconds.
• 3 Stars: Recharge 1 charge every 60 seconds.
• 4 Stars: Reduce physical damage received by 1.5%. Not applicable in Apex League.
• 5 Stars: can store up to three charges.

Furthermore, here are the following costs of advancement of the jetpack:

• 1 Star: 20 Jetpack Shards
• 2 Stars: 30 Jetpack Shards, 2,000 Gold
• 3 Stars: 40 Jetpack Shards, 4,000 Gold
• 4 Stars: 50 Jetpack Shards, 6,000 Gold
• 5 Stars: 60 Jetpack Shards, 9,000 Gold

Another thing you can do with your jetpack is to change its skin. By default, the jetpack has an orange and gray palette and looks like a common jetpack. But with these exclusive skins, you can transform your jetpack into a captivating and flashy flying accessory. You can get jetpack skins from events and bundles.

Other than accessorizing your jetpacks, you can also customize some features of your character as you top up Tower of Fantasy Tanium.

How to Obtain Jetpack

All players will be able to obtain their own jetpacks. However, it will not come to the player’s inventory by default. The only way to have this is by accomplishing and progressing with the main storyline quests.

The first thing you have to do is complete the combat scene that you will encounter upon choosing the character you want to play. After that, you will be customizing your character once you finish talking with Cecline. Eventually, you will meet Shirli again and will activate the Spacerift.

Once the Spacerift is activated, you will have to fight the Watchers guiding the Spacerift. Upon defeating all the enemies, you will be redirected again to Shirli for a few dialogues. When the conversation is finished, Shirli will give you her Jetpack.
