Mobile Legends in 2024 is still going pretty strong with a few MLBB characters on the way to round out the year. And with much acclaim, players are eagerly anticipating a possible collab Mobile Legends event (ahem, Naruto) with the release of Soyou, the tanky assassin, and the next character on the schedule, Lukas.
Compared to Soyou, we don’t have too many details on Mobile Legends Lukas just yet but he’s now made his debut on the Advanced Server in Mobile Legends so players can finally get their hands on the new hero before he officially releases.
We’ve tried our hand at the ‘beastly’ fighter too, so we’re breaking down all the details about Lukas in Mobile Legends to see if he’s truly worth getting.

Mobile Legends New Hero – Lukas Release Date
For now, we don’t have a definitive release date but we can speculate when to expect the new hero Lukas will make an appearance in Mobile Legends. That said, if you want to grow your collection of Mobile Legends heroes quickly, you can always buy MLBB account on U7BUY.
According to the latest hero release schedule, we see a new ML hero release every season. With that in mind, Soyou is up next in the release schedule and should make an appearance in September – November 2024.
That means we’ll only see MLBB Lukas in the game sometime in December 2024.
We don’t have the official release date just yet, but considering the pattern of released heroes for the past few seasons, we don’t expect anything to change for Lukas’s release.

Mobile Legends Lukas Abilities & Skills
Passive – Transient Immortal
First up we have Mobile Legends Lukas’s Passive ability, Transient Immortal. His passive doesn’t do much else besides powering his Ultimate ability but it is important to understand how it works.
Lukas passively generates 0.5 – 2 ‘Resolve’ per second. This is dependent on his Ult ability rank. Lukas can also generate 2 Resolve when he damages an enemy Mobile Legends Bang Bang hero. This makes it important to engage in fights to build up his Ult.
Once Lukas regens 100 Resolve, he can then proc his Unleash the Beast Ultimate. Once in his Beast form, he will consume 10 Resolve per second, which gives him 10 seconds to dole out damage in his Beast form before returning to his normal state.
Skill #1 – Flash Combo
Lukas’ Flash Combo skill is his bread-and-butter damage dealer with a 5.5-second cooldown and an AoE damage effect. The passive skill of this ability enhances the Flash Combo skill when Lukas hits an enemy with his Basic Attack, gaining 1 stack of Vigor with a max 2 stacks.
Once activated, Mobile Legends Lukas deals consumes all stacks of Vigor and deals 300-500 Physical Damage + 100% of his total Physical Attack stat.
This Mobile Legends skill has two different additional enhanced effects depending on his Vigor stacks –
- 1 stack of Vigor: Briefly stuns enemy + 3 follow-up attacks dealing 100 – 200 Physical Damage + 80% total Physical Attack stat per hit.
- 2 stacks of Vigor: Briefly stuns enemy + 2 follow-up attacks dealing 50 – 100 Physical Damage + 20% total Physical Attack stat per hit. Additionally deals 100 + 80% total Physical Attack stat Physical Damage with a spinning tonfa attack dealing damage 3 times and pulls the enemy towards him.
Skill #2 – Flash Step
His second skill, Flash Step is his mobility skill that allows him to dash in any direction. Using the skill also enhances his next basic attack to ‘Flash Strike’ for 4 seconds after activating the skill.
Flash Strike allows Mobile Legends Lukas to teleport behind the enemy and deals 50 +120% Total Physical Attack as Physical Damage. This also reduces Flash Step CD by 2 seconds and buffs his attack/movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds.
Ultimate – Unleash the Beast
Lastly, his Ultimate, Unleash the Beast morphs Lukas into his Sacred Beast form. While in Sacred Beast form, he receives an increased movement speed of 30 and all attributes increase by 15% – 20%.
Lukas’ entire kit also changes where his abilities are enhanced to fit with his Beast form.
While in Beast form, he can also unleash a ‘Shockwave Blast’ in place of his Ultimate ability. This fires a massive Shockwave Blast that explodes on contact with an enemy Mobile Legends hero, dealing Physical Damage and additional damage-dealing aftershocks.
MLBB Lukas Role & Playstyle
Lukas is a ‘Fighter’ role Mobile Legends character and specializes in engaging enemy combatants in 1v1s or possibly as a primary fight starter, jumping into the thick of it.
His abilities and skills reward a more active playstyle that has you getting into fights more often, and landing consecutive hits to maximize your damage potential. Since his skills/passives gain stacks of ‘Vigor’ or ‘Resolve’ which increase damage and enhance his abilities primarily by damaging opponents, it’s a good idea to stay on the prowl.
Lukas is also very reliant on his combos so you’ll need to learn the best timings to execute the most damage since he has passive skills that reward timely executions.
Alternatively, while this might not be his ‘main’ playstyle, we think that Lukas also has the potential to be an extremely potent ganker and jungler who focuses on destroying lone enemy players roaming around. In short, with a flexible and versatile ‘Fighter’ role, Lukas can be played in multiple styles and really depends on how you prefer to play him. That also makes him a great Mobile Legends hero to master once he releases later this year.
