The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) Skill Styling Guide

The Gold Road Chapter, a DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, will be available on June 3, 2024, for PCs and June 18, 2024, for consoles. This DLC will include a ton of new content, such as the Mirrormorr Incursions World Event, Lucent Citadel Trial, Zone Quests, the new region called West Weald, a skill styling feature and more. This guide is dedicated to the ESO Skill Styling feature.

In the Gold Road Chapter DLC which comes out in June 2024, ESO added a new feature called skill styling. Players can alter how skills in the Weapon, World, and Guild categories look. Collectables known as “Skill Styles” are earned via missions and achievements in the Gold Roads West Weald zone. After obtaining a Skill Style, you can apply it to the matching skill to modify its appearance. New colours and small animation changes are available for Soul Magic, Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, and numerous weapon skills. Those new skill styles in ESO will let you further customise your build and persona. This guide will tell you everything about The Elder Scrolls Online skill styling and its benefits.

How to get ESO Skill Styles?

In the West Weald zone, finishing the Scribing questline will provide you access to Skill Styles. You will receive the Scribing questline at the beginning of the Gold Road Chapter, which you can finish to gain Skill Styles. Right now, there are 22 different Skill Styles that you can get by doing different tasks, such as fulfilling accomplishments or certain quests. All of the Styles in Skill Styling will be available to play in the game at launch; they will not be available for purchase in the Crown Store or through Crown Crates.
