Killing the Team Leader of your opposing team can have a lot of advantages. Killing the Team Leader once will immediately level yourself up by one weapon tier. There is also always the chance that one of the Team Leaders on either team will be a level higher than the opposing Team Leader. If so, then they will be named the Match Leader. Anyone who is on their way to winning an CS2 Arms Race match will inevitably become the Team Leader and the Match Leader. This means that to win, you will always become a target for the opposing team directly. To win, you are going to need full awareness of where you are at all times and where the enemy teammates always are.
As you level yourself up through the Counter Strike 2 weapon tiers, you will notice the change in weapon types as well. In the very early stages, you will start with sniper rifles that will always require precision. Soon though will you reach SMGS and pistols, which can be quick at firing and perfect for stealthier kills as you make your way through the map.
