How Do You Fish?
If you plan to go fishing, you will need to craft some lures. A different lure is needed for catching different Hay Day tiers of fish. The higher the quality, then the more likely the chance that you will attract rarer and bigger fish. These lures may cost more to make though so be sure that you are well-practiced in fishing so that you don’t waste them.
Speaking of fishing, after you have your lures together it is time to hit the water. There are a ton of different spots all around the lake that house different Hay Day fish types. When you first start fishing though, you won’t need to worry too much about this as you will be meeting a lot of new fish and therefore Hay Day diamonds.
Once you pick a spot to fish, you will notice a little fish shadow in the water. You will need to aim your casting line close enough to the fish to catch its attention. After that, you will need to time the fish’s bite onto the lure and then the fight is on! There will be a circle that spawns around the Hay Day fish and all you must do is pull the fish inside of the circle as it shrinks around it. How to Make & Use Lures
Once you unlock the Hay Day Fishing Lake, you will also unlock access to the Lure Workbench for free. In total, there are four lures in the game. These lures will affect which fish you can catch at the Hay Day Fishing Lake so it’s important to have them all at once when you can. Each lure will cost one of the specific materials depending on the type of lure. For example, making one gold lure will cost you one gold sheet.
This seems simple enough, but you will also have to play the waiting game for your lures. The Hay Day gold lure takes the shortest amount of time to make but lures like the red can take over an hour! You can use Hay Day diamonds to shorten this process, but you will be making lots of lures. Then there are also the slots in the Workbench.
When you first unlock the Hay Day Lure Workbench, there will only be two slots available to craft a lure. You can unlock more slots, but these will cost lots of diamonds over time as each slot is priced higher than the last. However, if you plan to fish a lot and have no other better use for your Hay Day diamonds, then this investment will help you a lot. The more lures you have at once means more fish to possibly log into your book. That of course means lots more diamonds.
You can also achieve mastery on the Lure Workbench but that will require utilizing a ton of hours in production. This means letting the Workbench constantly be at work. After enough hours, the bench can work up to 15% faster than its regular speed, but that will be after about 5,880 hours of production time!
