WOW Cataclysm Classic Zul’Aman Dungeon Guide

WOW Cataclysm Classic Zul'Aman Dungeon Guide

In Cataclysm Classic, the 5-player dungeon Zul’Aman is back. Heroes can only access it if they are at least level 85. Additionally, the developers have included a number of unique rewards as well. It took the place of the initial Patch 2.3 10-player, level 70 raid instance. The plot goes like this, after being killed by a group of explorers, Zul’jin, Warlord of the Amani Tribe, appears to have been replaced by the Zandalar tribe.

To challenge Zandalar’s authority over the Amani, Vol’jin, the head of the Darkspear trolls, has organised an opposition army and is open to assistance from both the Alliance and the Horde. This dungeon is still a thrilling journey in Cataclysm Classic for gamers looking to put their talents to the test and find priceless treasures. As you step inside, get ready for a special combination of difficult mechanics and tactical interactions. In this guide, we’ll explain in detail about this dungeon and how to navigate it and get the maximum rewards.

WOW Cataclysm Zul’Aman Dungeon Location

The location of the dungeon is the most important thing first and foremost. Situated in the Eastern Kingdoms’ Ghostlands lies Zul’Aman. If you have a portal, you can use it to access it. Alternatively, you can journey to the Ghostlands from the Eastern Plaguelands. There will be a summoning stone and a small camp with friendly NPCs outside the instance too.

WOW Cataclysm Zul’Aman Dungeon Bosses

There are 6 bosses in the WOW Cataclysm Zul’Aman dungeon in specific order.  Details of these bosses are given below:

Akil’zon

This boss uses the following attacks:

  • Static Disruption
  • Call Lightning
  • Amani Kidnapper
  • Soaring Eagle
  • Electrical Storm

Try to avoid the static disruption attack by navigating all over the map to avoid being hit. Occasionally, Akil’zon will send waves of Soaring Eagles hurting random targets. He will also occasionally send in an Amani Kidnapper, which will lift and stun a player as it slowly leaves the battlefield; the player must kill the Amani Kidnapper before they perish. The last attack is Electrical Storm which deals lightning damage to the player, and it should avoid preventing substantial damage.

Nalorakk

The primary power of Nalorakk is his charge ability, known as Surge. He will employ this one frequently during the fight. He will charge the player who is the furthest away from him. Nalorakk occasionally assumes the form of a bear and attacks the tank with a few bear-specific skills. In order to prevent a player who has already been debuffed by his charge from being hit, your party should rotate the player who is “farthest away from Nalorakk,” according to the encounter mechanics.

Jan’alai

Players must dodge several fire-based attacks while Jan’alai is fighting on a little platform. Just disperse equally over the space to prevent too many players from being struck by a single breath. Every now and then, Jan’alai would teleport to the middle of his platform and scatter firebombs all over the place. These bombs explode after five seconds, killing any players who are in the area. Finally, when Jan’alais reaches 20% health, he will go into a frenzy, which will double his damage and attack speed by 50%.

Halazzi

This fight is split into two phases, with Halazzi switching between his powerful lynx form and his troll form. Halazzi will often drop Water Totems during the troll phase, which heal him swiftly the longer they are in close proximity. To stop any spawning Water Totems from healing Halazzi, just drag him away from them. Halazzi can call on the Spirit of the Lynx to assist him and recover to full health at both 66% and 33% health.  Aside from dropping Corrupted Lightning Totems frequently, Halazzi will also attack the group with significant damage that needs to be immediately dealt with.

Hex Lord Malacrass

Every now and again, Hex Lord Malacrass will unleash Spirit Bolts, which gradually deal the party a lot of Shadow damage. After this is done, he will unleash Drain Power, which will drain all of the players’ power and increase the damage he deals by the same amount. Hex Lord Malacrass’s primary ability in this encounter is Siphon Soul, which allows him to replicate a random player’s soul and gain powers according to the affected class.

Daakara

In this three-phase battle, players will encounter some of the bosses from prior games’ mechanics.  Players will first encounter Daakara in his troll form when he only has two skills to be concerned with Whirlwind and Grievous Throw. When Daakara reaches 80% health, he will be able to take on a new shape by absorbing the essence of a lynx or bear.  Analogous to Nalorakk, Daakara will utilize Surge on the player who is the furthest from them. Along with doing moderate damage and slowly causing enemies to bleed, he will also use Lynx Rush to attack random players. Finally, he will attack the player repeatedly while delivering increasing amounts of damage with each assault while using Claw Rage on a randomly selected victim.
